Dozens of dead dogs found in pit in Mexico

Puebla - Authorities have found some 50 dead dogs dumped in an open pit on a hill in central Mexico, officials said Tuesday.
Authorities in the central state of Puebla have launched an investigation to determine how the dogs died and who tossed them in the open grave in the village of Santa Maria Nenetzintla.
The pit was full of water due to recent rains.
The state health department said that local authorities buried the animals with lime on the same hill following the gruesome discovery.
